Vagabond Menu

Vagabond delivers a Southeast Asian fusion experience with creative takes on familiar favourites. Rooted in experimentation, each dish reflects the chefs’ personal touch, blending tradition with fresh, comforting flavours.

Vagabond’s standout dishes — Umai Pai Tee, Clam Fried Rice, and Duck Char Siew — are the result of thoughtful experimentation and countless rounds of refinement.

Specials and Light Bites

In celebrating the richness of Southeast Asian cuisine, Vagabond has recently added a Sarawak Laksa to their weekday lunch menu — a heartfelt nod to one of the founders' Sarawakian roots. True to form, they source select ingredients directly from Sarawak, including their batch of artisanal Tuak.

With experience in top-tier kitchens, the chefs are also well-versed in accommodating dietary preferences. They approach each request with flexibility and care. While the restaurant serves alcohol and is therefore not halal-certified, all dishes are pork and lard-free. Muslim diners are welcome to check with staff about ingredients, especially regarding dishes that may contain alcohol.

Plates That Pleases the Eyes and the Palate

Umai Pai Tees

This is no ordinary Pai Tee — filled with a delicate squid and scallop mousse, balanced by a zesty kick and topped with ikura and chilli for an added burst of flavour. The crisp shell contrasts beautifully with the mousse, though best enjoyed immediately to preserve its crunch.

Clam Fried Rice

This Clam Fried Rice is a treat for chilli lovers — bold yet balanced, with a heat that enhances the briny sweetness of the clams. It’s the kind of comforting dish that makes you miss home.

Duck Char Siew

The Duck Char Siew is the true showstopper — a 7-day dry-aged duck breast with perfectly crisp skin and rich, concentrated flavour. Paired with steamed mantou and a medley of condiments, it’s indulgent yet balanced. The date hoisin sauce ties it all together.

It's Fried Chicken

The fried chicken is a standout — perfectly crisp on the outside, while remaining irresistibly juicy and tender within. It’s served with Vagabond’s house-made Alabama white sauce, a tangy, creamy blend that adds just the right amount of zing and richness, taking the dish to another level.
