Tomorrowland Is Coming To China For The First Time And It’s Going Indoors

After years of waiting, Tomorrowland is finally making its debut in China, and it's doing so in a huge, bold, and surprising way. The globally renowned electronic music festival will present its first indoor experience, "The Magic of Tomorrowland," on November 22, 2025, in Shanghai.
This one-night-only event promises to be nothing short of amazing, taking place at the futuristic HERO DOME in Huangpu, just steps from The Bund. The event, created in conjunction with Hero Esports, INS Land, and title sponsor Budweiser, is intended to bring everything of Tomorrowland's imagination and power but recreated exclusively for China and held entirely indoors.
Expect more than simply a DJ set; this will be a comprehensive sensory experience that combines world-class music, beautiful graphics, immersive stage design, and narrative-driven performances. While the exact schedule is currently unknown, organizers have promised a mix of Tomorrowland's global heavyweights, exclusive China first sets, and emerging local talent reflecting the country's rapidly developing electronic scene.
More than a show—it's the beginning of something bigger.
This Shanghai event is not a one-off. It signals the start of a long-term collaboration between One World Artist (Tomorrowland's artist agency) and INS Land, the company behind some of Shanghai's most popular venues such as La Fin, RADi, and KeeZee. Together, they hope to create new opportunities for Chinese DJs on the world stage.
What began as a conversation in Belgium has grown into a strong relationship," stated Dino Ying, Chairman of Hero Esports and INS Land. "With the help of Tomorrowland and Budweiser, we are developing an experience that will establish a new standard for immersive events in Asia. This is only the beginning.
Tomorrowland’s Vision for China
Bruno Vanwelsenaers, CEO of Tomorrowland's parent company WEAREONE.world, described the event as a "dream come true" not only for Tomorrowland but also for fans around Asia.
"China has such a fascinating, rapidly rising entertainment culture," he stated. "There's a strong need for significant, immersive experiences. That is what Tomorrowland is all about, and we are pleased to bring that energy to Shanghai for the first time.
Looking Ahead: Asia in Focus
Shanghai's "Magic of Tomorrowland" will prepare the way for Asia's first full-scale Tomorrowland event, which will take place in Thailand in 2026. But before that, all eyes will be on China in November.
Ticket information and the musical roster will be published in September, but fans can already pre-register through the INS Land WeChat mini-program and app to gain priority access and unique prizes.
