When it comes to luxury, Bvlgari has always been about more than diamonds and gold—it’s about stories, heritage, and innovation. Now, the Roman maison is carving out a dazzling new chapter: the launch of Scuola Bvlgari, its very first public jewelry school, opening in Valenza, Italy.
Set inside Bvlgari’s state-of-the-art Manifattura in Valenza, Scuola Bvlgari transforms the birthplace of masterpieces into a classroom for the next generation of artisans. The school is designed for high school graduates who dream of shaping precious metals and gemstones—no experience needed, just steady hands and a passion to learn.
Courses officially begin in September 2025, with two programs on offer:
Goldsmithing: A deep-dive 1,680-hour course running through April 2027.
Gemstone Setting: A 600-hour course finishing in June 2026.
Craft Meets Innovation
The curriculum blends centuries-old techniques with cutting-edge technology. Students will master skills like laser cutting, lost-wax casting, polishing, and intricate stone-setting. Workstations are equipped with high-precision tools and microscopes, ensuring each student learns to handle materials with the same care as Bvlgari’s master craftsmen.
And it’s not just about beauty—it’s about responsibility. The facility itself is built to LEED Gold standards, powered by renewable energy and equipped with solar panels and geothermal systems. Luxury meets sustainability in every corner.
The launch of Scuola Bvlgari aligns with a major expansion of the Valenza site, which recently grew from 14,000 to 33,000 square meters—making it one of the largest single-brand jewelry manufacturing facilities in the world. This bold move is part of Bvlgari’s plan to double production by 2029, positioning Valenza as a global hub of artistry and innovation.

An Open Door to Talent
Bvlgari has trained artisans internally since 2017 through its invite-only Jewelry Academy. But Scuola Bvlgari is a game-changer—it opens the doors to anyone with passion, creativity, and determination.
The school also reflects Bvlgari’s commitment to inclusivity. Women already make up more than half of the Valenza workforce, while globally 62% of Bvlgari’s managers are women. The maison also partners with organizations like the UNHCR, offering tailored training and mentorship to refugees, ensuring talent from all walks of life has a chance to shine.
Bvlgari: Crafting Tomorrow’s Icons
Scuola Bvlgari is more than an educational venture—it’s a promise to the future. By blending heritage with innovation, and artistry with inclusivity, Bvlgari is showing that luxury can be both timeless and forward-thinking.
As new students walk through the doors of Valenza, they aren’t just learning to craft jewelry—they’re helping craft the next era of Bvlgari itself.g at a storefront. You’re looking at the birthplace of audacity, artistry, and allure — a store that turned Rome into a jewellery capital and forever changed the way the world sees Italian luxury.
