Bangkok is going prehistoric—and no, it’s not just the traffic. On 8 August 2025, Jurassic World: The Experience officially opened its colossal gates at Asiatique The Riverfront, transporting visitors straight to the legendary Isla Nublar. Spanning an impressive 6,000 square meters, the attraction blends Hollywood-style thrills with hands-on edutainment, making it one of Southeast Asia’s most ambitious tourism projects to date.

Jurassic World: A Dino-Sized Collaboration

The project is a joint effort between Thailand’s Asset World Corporation (AWC), global experiential entertainment leader NEON, and Universal Destinations & Experiences, with strong backing from the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), and Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MNRE). With a 1.2 billion baht (~USD 35 million) investment, it sets a new benchmark for immersive attractions in the region.

Visitors can journey through multiple themed zones that bring the blockbuster films to life:

  • Origins of Wonder – The grand welcome center introducing the science and story of Jurassic World.

  • Arrival at Isla Nublar – Walk through the iconic gates into dense prehistoric jungle.

  • The Petting Zoo – Meet adorable baby dinosaurs up close.

  • Predator Pavilion – Face the infamous Velociraptors.

  • Thrill Zones – Come nose-to-nose with the Indominus Rex, Carnotaurus, soaring Pteranodons, and even stumble upon the wrecked jeep from The Lost World.

Every animatronic creature is meticulously crafted for lifelike movement, from the flick of a tail to the glint in a predator’s eye—offering just the right mix of wonder and adrenaline.

Beyond the roars and stomps, guests can unwind at the Fossil & Flame Restaurant, a 2,061-square-meter rooftop dining space seating 256 diners. The menu features themed creations like the Tree Top Nacho Tower and Molten Chocolate Egg. For keepsakes, the safety-bunker-themed Jurassic World Store stocks everything from apparel to a full-scale fossilized T-rex skull.

The experience also includes Better World, Better Future, Asia’s largest 4D sustainability edutainment zone at the adjacent Hatch Dome—highlighting conservation and environmental awareness in a captivating, interactive way.

According to tourism officials, the attraction is expected to significantly boost Bangkok’s position as a global family-friendly destination. Combining nostalgia, advanced technology, and educational value, it offers something for everyone—from devoted fans of the franchise to first-time visitors seeking unique thrills.
